About The

We are the editorial desk behind Analytics207, a data-first Maine high school sports site. If you have read a bracket breakdown, a power ratings post, or a 2 AM recap on this site, that was us.

We cover every sport our pipeline touches: basketball, football, baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, field hockey, lacrosse, cross country, and track and field. Boys and girls. Every class. Every division that sends a roster to the MPA.

Some of what goes out under our byline is drafted by GameIQ, our prediction engine, and polished by a human before it publishes. The rest is us, usually late at night, usually after one more query. We try to write the kind of analysis we wish we had when we were standing on the sideline with a clipboard.

If we got something wrong, the Press Box has a correction form and we read every one. If you want to write for us or shoot games, that same page has a form for that too.

You Are Already Doing The Math In Your Head. We Just Made It Easier.

Here is the honest pitch. You already do this in your head. You already know your kid ran a 12.4 last week, your neighbor's kid ran a 12.8, and the kid from Scarborough in the paper ran a 12.1. You ha
