This policy explains what information Analytics207 collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If something here is unclear, email us at admin@analytics207.com and we will explain it in plain English.
Analytics207 is a sports analytics platform covering Maine high school athletics. We are operated by a small independent team based in Maine. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information you provide on this site.
We collect the following categories of information:
Analytics207 publishes statistics, results, and rankings for Maine high school athletes. Athletes are identified by name, school, grade level, and event participation only. We do not publish home addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, or any contact information for athletes.
If you are an athlete, parent, or guardian and you would like an athlete profile removed from public ranking pages, contact us at admin@analytics207.com with the athlete name, school, and graduation year. We will respond within 14 days.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed to operate the service:
Analytics207 is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email admin@analytics207.com and we will delete the account and any associated information.
Athlete data published on ranking pages may relate to athletes under 18. As described in section 3, that data contains only the athlete name, school, grade, event, and performance. Removal requests by athletes, parents, or guardians are honored within 14 days.
We use cookies for authentication (so you stay logged in) and to remember your preferences (sport selection, dark mode, etc.). We use a third party analytics tool to measure aggregate site usage. That tool may set its own cookies and may receive your IP address. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; if you do, some parts of the site (especially the logged in experience) will not work.
We use industry standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for the database, salted password hashing, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and any required authorities in line with applicable law.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days, with limited exceptions for billing records (kept for 7 years for tax and audit purposes) and aggregated analytics (which do not identify you).
