Yarmouth stacks up 17 personal records at Southern Maine Classic
Seventeen Yarmouth girls set season personal records on the same course on September 12, a team wide drop at the Southern Maine Classic that says the training is landing.
Eleanor Weyenberg led the way, the grade 12 runner clocking 19:49.64. Freshman Caroline Weyenberg followed in 20:12.85, and fellow grade 9 runner Louisa Chalmers came home in 21:12.07.
Abbie Grunewald ran 22:12.35 and Ruby Anderson 22:14.65, the two of them just about stride for stride. Abbey Hamilton crossed in 23:02.32, Eloise Anderson in 23:23.33, Taylor Carr in 23:40.76 and Gwen Zimmerman in 23:54.15.
Sophie Gordon and Annika Hellstedt finished within a hundredth of each other, 24:13.89 to 24:13.92. Gracie Olson ran 24:55.94 and Olivia Glavan 25:41.77.
Summer Tilton (29:11.32), Lila Macciola (29:15.50), Layla Carlson Cano (34:02.96) and Alina Sulyandziga (36:31.50) rounded out the personal records, top to bottom.
