Hampden Academy takes Girls Class A at PVC/KVAC Crossover
Hampden Academy packed its scoring five near the front and won the Girls Class A team standings at the PVC/KVAC Crossover Meet on September 19 with 19 points.
Bangor was next among the top teams with 72 points, and Mount Blue rounded out the group with 112. Hampden's five averaged 20:42.6 on the course, with a first to fifth split of 2:31.
Addison Elliott of Hampden Academy ran the fastest winning time of the Girls day, crossing in 18:53.40. She finished 120.7 seconds clear of second place in her race.
The course rewarded plenty of runners. Forty one Girls set a season personal record here.
