Greely swept Messalonskee 3-0 at home on October 3, a meeting between the No. 1 and No. 3 teams in Class B on the Heal Points board.
The win was the seventh straight for Greely, which moved to 8-1, and its fourth sweep of the season. Greely's DSI, the Depth of Schedule Index that measures the strength of a team's schedule, rose from 48 to 56 with the result.
Messalonskee came in on a 5 game winning streak, and that run ends here with the team at 7-2. It did not leave empty handed: its DSI climbed from 21 to 38, which is about as much as anyone has ever taken home from a sweep.
Both teams are back on the road Tuesday, October 6. Greely plays at Edward Little, and Messalonskee plays at Washington Academy.
The result had a familiar look. Last season, on October 14 2025, Greely beat Messalonskee 3-0 at home.
