Foxcroft Academy rolls past Hampden Academy 66-6

Foxcroft Academy beat Hampden Academy 66-6 at home on October 15. It was Foxcroft Academy's sixth straight win and lifted it to 6-1.

The 66 points were Foxcroft Academy's most in a game this season, and the 60 point margin was its largest. Through 7 games it is scoring 33.0 points a game and allowing 10.0. The last meeting was closer: on October 10 2025, Foxcroft Academy won 19-0 at Hampden Academy.

The ratings did not follow the scoreboard. Foxcroft Academy slid from No. 3 to No. 5 on its Class C seed list, and its PIR, the Power Index Rating, slipped from 79.8 to 75.4. Hampden Academy, now 0-7 after a seventh straight loss, saw its PIR climb from 11.3 to 16.1. That makes it a rare week in which the team on the short end of a 60 point game came away with the better ratings day.

Hampden Academy, the No. 12 seed in Class C, hosts York on Saturday, October 24. Foxcroft Academy plays at Brewer on Friday, October 23.
